NARCAN (Naloxone) is a nasal spray medication that can counteract opioid overdose effects.
The Child and Family Empowerment Center (CAFE) is a Narcan (Naloxone) distribution site. Please visit us during our normal business hours to request a free Narcan kit.
Additionally, PreventEd and People's Health Center's NaloxBoxes contain two doses of Narcan (Naloxone) to be used in case of an emergency. NaloxBoxes are installed on walls at the following locations:
In case of an opioid overdose, CALL 911 immediatly if possible and then administer the NARCAN (Naloxone). If you can't get to a phone, administer NARCAN (Naloxone) according to instructions below and then find help as soon as you can.
